During the Doll Making Workshops, children create their own unique doll under the guidance of art teachers from De Kunstketel and Het Brede Spoor. At De Kunstketel, Silvana Crefcoeur of Atelier Jolicoeur will conduct the workshop and at Het Brede Spoor, Marijk Greweldinger will guide the children.

The workshops focus on fantasy, creativity and art. Children are playfully introduced to figure theatre and Pieke Dassen. They discover how a puppet comes to life and how to tell stories without words, but with movement, images and emotion.

Besides the workshops, participants are invited to two activities within the Pieke Parcours: the children's performance by Merlin Puppet Theatre (20 September) and the performance by Ruben Komkommer (27 September). This way, they will experience how versatile and special figure theatre can be.
