D'n Hiemel: Lloyd Spiegel & Suzie Vinnick

Lloyd Spiegel and Suzie Vinnick are blues legends in their home countries and have both toured all over the world for more than 30 years. Their longstanding friendship and mutual respect have led to multiple collaborations and now the two multi-award-winning songwriters are together in a double bill and together in Europe for the first time. A mix of powerful songwriting, eye- and ear-popping fretwork and captivating stories from the road: this is a show not to be missed!

Lloyd Spiegel (Australia)
Lloyd Spiegel's stunning guitar playing, convincing voice and humorous performances transcend genres and generations. A 14-time winner of the Australian Blues Award, he is one of Australia's most celebrated guitarists. He has performed in theatres and at major festivals worldwide, including the Montreal Jazz Festival (Canada), Kansas City Blues Festival (USA), Sapporo Blues Festival (Japan) and Groningen Rhythm and Blues Festival (NL).

Suzie Vinnick (Canada)
Suzie Vinnick, a three-time Juno Award nominee and 12-time Maple Blues Award winner, enchants audiences with her soulful voice and upbeat stage presence. Suzie performed at the Teatro Nazionale in Genoa, Italy, as a guest of Italian acoustic guitarist and singer Beppe Gambetta, at the Baltic Blues Festival in Eutin (DE) and at the Women in (e)motion festival in Bremen (DE).

Together, Spiegel and Vinnick will bring a concert that guarantees passion, virtuosity and pure blues experience.
