With her charisma, Monica quickly gets the audience on the edge of their seats. With her clear voice, she sings traditional songs as well as her own pieces. Passion, melancholy and 'la vida' are mostly sung subjects. During the concert, the songs are explained in Dutch. Manito's sometimes inimitable guitar work is a feast for the eyes and ears. With his virtuoso playing, he encourages Monica to give it her all. He is named after the guitar legend 'Manitas de Plata' (1921-2014), the ancestor of the 'Gipsy Kings'.
