With an experience that resonates musically, visually and emotionally, Millepied pays tribute to the humanity and identity that characterise Barbara's work.

One of the most influential choreographers of his generation
Former star dancer of the New York City Ballet and former Director of Dance of the Opéra de Paris, Millepied's choreographies are known for their unique combination of music, visual art and dance. Millepied has created work for leading companies worldwide and collaborated with artists such as Nico Muhly and Daniel Buren. In 2026, he presents three brand new creations inspired by love, joy and freedom, including Barbara, Du bout des lèvres. The Dutch premiere will take place at Theater aan het Vrijthof.
