Benelux's largest open-air culinary festival returns to the Vrijthof.
From Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August 2026, Vrijthof will once again be all about flavour, conviviality and Limburg hospitality during 't Preuvenemint. 'The Grande Dame of culinary festivals' in the Netherlands. On the Vrijthof, there will be the opportunity to 'preuve' at one of over 30 different stands. In addition, a host of artists will provide a musical experience. Be surprised by all the different taste explosions and get to know Maastricht's Burgundian character.
Preuvenecard
During 't Preuvenemint itself, payment can be made with the so-called 'PreuveneCard'. You can order it online or buy it at the box office at 't Preuvenemint. With this payment card and the accompanying KNIP App (available for Android and iPhone), you can check and top up your balance wherever you are, pay more quickly and securely and pay back your remaining balance afterwards. There is also the possibility of recharging your card at the charging points at 't Preuvenemint.
