In this University Library workshop, learn three simple but elegant embroidery stitches!
Embroidery is an invitation to step away from your screen, slow down and be fully present. Stitch by stitch you will create a beautiful hand-embroidered tote bag with a delicate rosehip design.
Three simple embroidery stitches
During this workshop you will learn three simple but elegant embroidery stitches, explained step by step. The workshop is suitable for beginners, but also fun for participants with more experience. No prior embroidery experience is needed and all materials will be provided. During the workshop you will practice the stitches and continue to work on your tote bag at home, so that the feeling of tranquillity continues even after the workshop.
Important note on registration
Only sign up if you are sure you can attend. The number of places is limited and we want to avoid occupying places that might otherwise go to someone else.
