One big open-air stage
On Sunday 28 June, Gluren bij de Buren will transform Maastricht into one big open-air stage. Gardens, community centres, squares and other special places will open their doors for a day of local art and creativity. Both beginning and experienced performing artists get the chance to perform. At the same time, residents open their garden or location as a stage. This unique collaboration creates special encounters and new connections in the neighbourhood. The organisation has started the search for hospitable hosts and performing artists who want to participate.

Neighbourhoods come to life
According to programme makers Mike Noevers and Dewi Hombergen, the festival is an annual highlight in which neighbourhoods come alive. The intimate setting creates an open and social atmosphere, where visitors and artists really meet. Although the festival lasts only one day, the encounters and inspiration work on for a long time. New friendships, collaborations and ideas emerge, spread throughout the city.

Register
Locations and performances can be registered until Sunday 10 May via gbdb.nl/register. Performers will receive half of all voluntary contributions from visitors. Hosts may be reimbursed for expenses incurred.
