Academic tour: Hugo and the Law
UNTIL 18 March
English-language academic tour of Victor Hugo's ideas on law and justice, with interpretation of literature, legal thought and current events.
These guided tours will be given in English. During the session, researchers involved in the project will take you through the exhibition and provide in-depth explanations of Victor Hugo's ideas on law, justice and their significance for today.
You will discover how the exhibition fits into a broader academic and cultural context and how literature, legal thinking and contemporary society are connected. There will be space to ask questions and engage in conversation about the themes of the exhibition, giving you a better understanding of the current influence of Hugo's work.
The tour will be conducted by Eline Couperus or Agustín Parise.
You are welcome as a student, staff member or external visitor. Participation is free, but advance registration is required due to the limited number of places.
