A sporty city walk in running form along university buildings in Maastricht, full of stories and history.
Sporty discovery
The UM50 Running Tour combines exercise with sightseeing. Accompanied by Raoul Spronken, you will walk past special Maastricht University sites in the city centre at a deliberately slow pace so that everyone can participate. Along the way, there are regular stops for short explanations and interesting stories about the buildings and their history.
Stories along the way
The tour offers a unique look at the university and its role in the city. You will get to know Maastricht in an active and substantive way.

Location
In the Jeker Quarter, you will find atmospheric restaurants and cafés with the finest terraces, the historic city wall, a bakery with a water mill where flour is ground for the tastiest flans and, if you are lucky, live music in the streets.
