During this special walk through the city centre, you will discover how Universiteit Maastricht has been part of the city's story for 50 years.
Get to know Maastricht from a new perspective
During this free city tour, an Official Maastricht Guide will take you past special UM locations and discover how historical heritage and academic life reinforce each other in Maastricht. You will hear the stories behind the buildings, from monastery life and military history to jurisdiction, student life and innovative education. This way, you will get to know Maastricht and its university from a new perspective.
Practical information
The tour takes place outside, so you won't go anywhere inside. The starting point is the entrance of the Student Services Centre (Bonnefantenstraat 2) and the end of the tour is on the Vrijthof. Participation in the tour is free, but registration is required.

City Tour - 50 years of Universiteit Maastricht in Jeker Quarter
