50 Years of Science and Impact: UM Women Pioneers
T / m 20 May
This special UM50 edition focuses on female pioneers bringing science and society closer together.
The female pioneers
Annemarie Koster talks about what science says about how much we really need to move, and why that matters in our daily lives. Marjolein van Vugt, professor of Psychosocial Innovations in Dementia and head of the Alzheimer Centre Limburg, takes you through the question: can you live with dementia? With their personal and accessible stories, they make it clear how research contributes to health, well-being and quality of life.
Everyone is welcome
After the interactive talks, it is time to get involved yourself during a short pub quiz with a fun prize for the winner. Whether you are a student, employee, alumnus or curious resident: Pint of Science is for everyone. The language of communication is Dutch and no prior knowledge is needed, just curiosity. Come along, ask your questions and celebrate 50 years of Universiteit Maastricht with us!
