A special paint
Egg tempera is a special kind of paint. Unlike many ready-made paints, it contains no solvents or microplastics. It lends itself well to detailed painting, but its bright colours also make it suitable for freer, more expressive work. The workshop will be led by Limburg Biennale participant Daniella de Grood. She has been working as a designer since 1996 and as a painter since 2020. In her paintings, she uses natural materials and historical paint recipes.

Practical information
As a participant, you do not need to bring any materials, but (if possible) do bring a few soft (watercolour) brushes. The workshop is suitable for adults interested in traditional painting techniques with a contemporary twist. The free workshop is held in Dutch.
