A hidden green oasis
During the Marres Garden Festival, you will discover the special city garden of Marres. With some 1000 m², this is Maastricht's largest public city garden. A quiet, green spot in the middle of the city.
Workshops and nature experience
On 12 and 13 June, the garden will be all about discovery and experience. You can participate in various workshops that will introduce you to everything this hidden nature has to offer, from plants and ecology to creative outdoor work.
Discover in your own way
The programme invites you to explore, learn and especially enjoy the garden as a place for rest, inspiration and encounters. Whether you actively participate or just walk around: there is something for everyone. The full programme and all workshops can be found on the Marres website.

Location
The Staten Quarter is situated in the centre of Maastricht, between the city centre and the Sphinx Quarter. It is a genuine residential neighbourhood, but you’ll also find remarkable monuments, surprising cultural institutions and lovely local shops there.
