Café Theatre Festival Maastricht

During the Café Theatre Festival, the city centre turns into a living stage where new talent gives intimate performances in five local cafés.
Expect a multifaceted evening of new theatre talent. Among others, you will see SCHAFT with Scantare, an absurd and musical performance full of fantasy and polyphony. Opera Compact takes you on a playful and musical exploration of gender and sexuality with Fairy Jungle, and Vandiemensen's Broadway Baby introduces you to Suzy and Sally, who dream of fame and pull out all the stops to escape their coffee shop existence.
Via Zuid is proud to bring this quirky festival to Maastricht, giving new talent a stage. Makers stand eye to eye with their audience without technical trappings in De Tribunal, Café Forum, Café Paulus, Café Servaas and Café Zondag.
