In autumn 2025, Toneelgroep Maastricht and Stichting NOX bring the award-winning play Longen to Dutch theatres. Zorba Huisman directs actors Frieda Barnhard and Nick Renzo Garcia in a moving and poignant love story, in which a young couple struggles with the question of whether it is responsible to bring a child into the world in times of overpopulation and climate change.
Longen was written by Duncan Macmillan(Every brilliant thing, People places & things), according to de Volkskrant the playwright of the moment.
On Tuesday 23 September, there will be a public rehearsal of the performance Longen ahead of its premiere on 27 September at PLT Theatre Heerlen. This rehearsal will take place in the Bordenhal from 14.00 to 15.30h.
