Michael Berg (1956, Heerlen) studied Dutch, was a student at the Kleinkunstacademie and worked briefly as a singer/musician. After a career in broadcasting (RVU, NOS, L1), he left for France in 2004 to devote himself entirely to writing thrillers. His work became a success: he published twelve books that sold more than 500,000 copies.

What can you expect?
During this special Thriller Weeks lecture, Michael Berg will tell you:
- how The Mergelland Murders came about
