Harvest returns
Harvest is an annual multi-day event that connects artists and designers from contemporary visual art, design and crossover practices to Maastricht. After a strong first edition in 2025, Harvest returns in 2026, organised by Editions Showroom (Chequita Nahar) and Fundamentals The Agency (Irene Fens and Chequita Nahar), in collaboration with Bureau Europa and a growing network of partners in Maastricht and beyond.

Be surprised
The city is once again the starting point. Maastricht acts as a stage and workshop, with presentations spread across public spaces, cultural institutions and unexpected locations. By also programming outside the established art spaces, an open and accessible route is created for a wide audience. Accessibility will receive explicit attention, including for visitors with visual impairments. Besides exhibitions, there are workshops, talks and interactive activities for different ages.

The many shades of white
Harvest focuses not only on showing work, but also on its significance for the city. In the central exhibition Showcase, makers respond to Maastricht's heritage, architecture and character. This year's focus includes research into the many shades of white in the city centre, translated into new work.
