Exploring the countryside together
Time for an adventure on the Mount Saint Peter! During this fun nature activity, children take the lead. Together with the forest ranger, they’ll search for animal tracks, discover plants and hunt for all sorts of little creatures.

Learning from the forest ranger
Along the way, the forest ranger shares interesting facts about everything you come across: why the nature on the Mount Saint Peter is so special and how that came about, how to recognise galls, why insects and bats are important, and which plants are particularly special. You might even hear an eagle owl or spot traces of a fox or badger!

An activity for the whole family
The excursion lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and follows unpaved paths with slight changes in elevation. The distance and terrain are explained in advance, so parents can decide for themselves whether it’s suitable for their children. Guides walk alongside the group, but today the focus is on the children. A real journey of discovery full of nature, wonder and fun!
