International Hip-Hop FestivalSince 1998, The Notorious IBE has grown into a major platform for hip-hop, street culture and urban dance. The festival takes place at various indoor and outdoor venues in the centre of Heerlen and showcases a wide range of dance styles, creative disciplines and new developments within the scene.
programme highlightsDuring The Notorious IBE, you can enjoy international dance battles, live performances, workshops, music programmes and film screenings, amongst other things. There will also be opportunities for talks, creative encounters and activities focused on talent development within hip-hop and street culture.
More than just dance
As well as battles and performances, the festival focuses on music, film, art, talent development and knowledge-sharing. Organisers, designers, writers, videographers, technicians and other creative talents also play an important role within the festival.
