Danny Vera has long since ceased to be just that charming Zeeuw in a tight suit with quiff, known for his rock 'n' roll songs. Nor just that 'one-hit wonder' with a number 1 hit in the Top 2000. Or that artist who broke through after 25 years of toil thanks to his regular spot at the table of a football talk show. He is all that, and much more.

Big stages
Danny Vera is now a respected artist who has run his own course for years. He always released his music on his own terms. In recent years, he has performed on a variety of stages: solo in the intimate Oostkerk in Middelburg, with full band in theatres, in the middle of the Klokgebouw with his 'Beggin' For Trouble' shows, and at festivals such as Pinkpop, Ribs & Blues and Concert at Sea. And just last year in a sold-out Ziggo Dome with full orchestra. This autumn in Ahoy with 'Vera's Nightclub'.

New chapter
Recently released, the single 'Morning Dawns Again' is a hopeful, uptempo track that heralds a new chapter in his blossoming career. It is the first release from his upcoming album 'The Way Home', due this autumn. Expect an evening of new music as well as familiar classics. Exactly as you have come to expect from Danny.
