Nederlandse Dansdagen Gala marks the festive opening of nederlandse Dansdagen. This evening celebrates the Dutch dance sector, with the country’s most prestigious dance awards being presented. There will also be plenty of dance performances by award winners, nominees and up-and-coming talent.

Dance awards and talent
During the Gala, nederlandse Dansdagen Maastricht Innovation Prize will be awarded to a promising choreographer. The prestigious VSCD Swans will also be awarded to outstanding dance performances and achievements from the past year.

Between the award presentations, you’ll see short solos, duets and excerpts from existing and new dance pieces. Past winners, nominees and up-and-coming talents will showcase different facets of Dutch dance. The evening will be hosted by Anna Drijver.

After the Gala: Club TWEAK
After the Gala, the evening continues in the Danstent with Club TWEAK. Dance alongside dancers and choreographers from the Dutch dance scene to music from local and international DJs. A festive conclusion to the opening night of nederlandse Dansdagen.
