During Limburg Spring, choreographers and talented artists with strong ties to Limburg are given a platform at nederlandse Dansdagen. In St John’s Church, you can see three different performances by Nina Dumoulin, Zoë Greten and OXYGEN in a single evening.

BUSHIDŌ – Nina Dumoulin
Maastricht-based artist Nina Dumoulin returns with BUSHIDŌ following her debut performance, TIME. In this performance, she explores existential courage: the courage to be completely yourself. To do so, she uses the movement language of waacking, combined with inspiration from martial arts and the values of the samurai. Discipline, precision and inner peace come together in her own unique style.

IGNIS – Zoë Greten
Zoë Greten, originally from Kerkrade and winner of the 2025 Leo Spreksels Award, presents IGNIS. The performance centres on female anger and the way in which it is often suppressed or not taken seriously. Greten, however, approaches anger as a response to injustice and as a source of dignity, vulnerability and change.

A Breath of Oxygen – OXYGEN
A Breath of Oxygen centres on the power of the collective. The dancers of OXYGEN each bring their own style and character, yet move as a single, unified whole. Among them is Maastricht-born Jaïra Joy, who became the first woman to win the Red Bull Dance Your Style competition in Los Angeles. Together, the dancers demonstrate what can be achieved through trust, connection and years of shared experience.
