Multi-talented Reggy van Bakel presents his latest album, a unique collection of compositions for saxophone, bass clarinet, marimba, drums, guitar and tape. The ensemble weaves dreamy soundscapes with mesmerising visuals, creating a magical experience.
Inspired by the subtlety and freedom of minimalist onkyokei and wandelweiser music, Reggy explores new artistic waters. Drawing from his rich background in percussion, analogue electronics, ambient, pop, and both contemporary and classical music, he creates an immersive exploration of human connection, the power of live performance, and the balance between the mechanical and the organic.
