During this World War II themed tour, a guide takes the group some 30 metres underground. Two adjacent corridor systems are visited to get a good impression of what things were like during World War II.

The guide shows the shelter for Maastricht residents. The repository for the Netherlands' most valuable art treasures is also visited. A special vault was built for this purpose, where, among other things, Rembrandt's famous painting 'The Night Watch' was kept for four years. The guide tells stories about underground smuggling routes. Experience for yourself how the Maastricht people worked inventively during the Second World War. To reach all the locations, you will also walk some 2 kilometres above ground.

Not accessible to wheelchair users and people with mobility problems. The constant temperature in the corridors is around 11 degrees. A cardigan, jumper or jacket and sturdy footwear are recommended.
