Open Studios 2026

The ‘ Jan van Eyck Academie ’ warmly invites you to the annual Open Studios. For three days, all the doors in the academy building will be open, and you are welcome to get to know the artistic practices of the Jan van Eyck Class of 2026: an international group of around 40 artists, designers (fashion, food, graphic and social), writers, architects and other artistic researchers. They will be showcasing the processes and outcomes of their residency period.

The programme encompasses a wide range of artistic practices; expect installations, presentations, performances, screenings, talks, tastings and more. You can also explore the academy’s gardens, sample all the delicacies from the Food Lab, discover innovative materials in the Future Materials Lab and browse through the new artists’ books in the Printing & Publishing Lab.

The public programme of performances and talks will be announced via the website and social media.
