The Jan van Eyck Academie 's 2025 batch opens the doors of its studios and invites you to discover research processes and results.
The Jan Jan van Eyck Academie Academy is organising its annual Open Studios, a three-day event where some 40 artists, designers, writers and other artistic researchers will present a wide range of research themes and artistic approaches
During Open Studios 2025, the academy building will become a hotspot for exchange and conversation. The public can discover the academy's labs and departments, explore the Jan van Eyck Library and take a look in and around the academy's gardens, café, corridors and other spaces.
All visitors are welcome to participate in a lively programme of presentations, workshops, lectures, screenings, performances, tastings and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the Jan van Eyck's gardens, café, labs and all other spaces in and around the building, including the recently renovated Future Materials Lab.

Open Studios 2025 can be found in Jeker Quarter
Location
In the Jeker Quarter, you will find atmospheric restaurants and cafés with the finest terraces, the historic city wall, a bakery with a water mill where flour is ground for the tastiest flans and, if you are lucky, live music in the streets.
