Emerging Artists Unveiled

During the world-renowned art fair TEFAF, local artists up to 30 years old are given a stage at various locations in Maastricht. By making art visible at prominent locations in the city, such as hotels, restaurants and galleries, TEFAF stakeholders are treated to an artistic urban experience during their stay in Maastricht.

The official kick-off will take place on Saturday 8 March, with each venue organising special activities with the exhibiting artist(s).

The project supports young artists and collaborates with various art education institutions such as ABKM. A professional jury selected 23 artists from an Open Call to present their work. Besides exposure, participants also receive guidance on cultural entrepreneurship to prepare them for a successful future in the art world.
