50 Years of Lumière: Film Night
Lumière was officially founded on 14 October 1976. However, the story began a month earlier: on 10 September, the very first Film Night took place, a trial evening during which Lumière – then still known as Stichting Filmhuis Maastricht – opened its doors for the first time. Interest proved to be high, and fifty years on, this special beginning is being celebrated with a new, extra-late Film Night.

Look forward to an evening and night full of special films, preview screenings and titles linked to the programme from back then. You can also test your knowledge during the Lumière Film Pub Quiz and find out just how much you know about fifty years of Lumière.
