Joseph Hollman grew up in Maastricht and once took the world by storm as a cellist and composer, but subsequently faded from the collective memory. During the Maastricht Year, we’re changing all that!
On 23 August, the ‘Bonjour Joseph!’ exhibition opens at Opus 9. The exhibition presents a wonderful portrait of an extraordinary cellist whose story and music – including his famous ‘Berceuse’ – deserve to be rediscovered. Join us as we delve into his life, his music and the rich history of Philzuid.
