Magdalena Kožená shines with Philzuid in an evening of enchanting and highly romantic masterpieces conducted by Duncan Ward.
Mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená, a world star in classical music, performs with Philzuid under the baton of chief conductor Duncan Ward. Kožená, who met Ward when he worked as a young assistant to her husband Simon Rattle at the Berlin Philharmoniker, will perform two masterpieces: the enchanting"Where are you?" by Adámek and the solo in the final movement of Mahler's Fourth Symphony, in which earthly tears and heavenly joys come together in highly romantic orchestral music.
