With 'It's Time', Koosje brings a breath of fresh air to the world of neo soul and jazz.
Koosje released her debut album 'It's Time' in 2023, featuring 16 songs inspired by neo soul, folk-jazz and R&B. Her music, praised by artists such as Ruben Hein, Gregory Porter and David Crosby, features a mix of styles including jazz, folk and bossa. The album, written over four years, deals with themes of love, self-reflection and freedom.
The Pop-up Jazzclub in Maastricht offers a unique place where jazz musicians and listeners meet monthly for an intimate musical experience. In collaboration with Theater aan het Vrijthof, Jazz Maastricht transforms the foyer and theatre hall of Kumulus into a cosy jazz club. The programme ranges from well-known jazz musicians to new talent, and from traditional jazz to modern crossover.
